so I've decided something.
I've decided that you can be in room full of people but you might be the loneliest you've ever been if the one person you want in the entire world isn't there. and you can try and fill that void with whatever you want, really, anything. drugs, alcohol, sexual gratification, but it will never satisfy.
lately I've been experiencing that feeling. its haunting, and relentless and the antidote is right in front of me. but in reality, it might as well be out of reach. 'cause this time, its not my place to reach for it.

breaking up is (fucking) hard to do
so I'm taking a break from crying ad listening to various songs by Miley Cyrus to talk about my fucking, fantastic experience this week.
i decided my girlfriend of 2 and 1/2 years and i need to take a break so she can do some growing up.
since then, i have made out with a total stranger after knowing her for about 10 minutes, not really eaten, cried, and spent a lot of my free time laying in bed with my cat.
I sure am curious to see what week 2 will be like.

food: a universal language?
while i still want to know your thoughts about my last post; something else has occurred to me. something so, apparent, so odd, so vital, i must get outside input.
a very funny comedian who's central theme seems to be food; once joked about how food, more specifically cake, brings people together.
i think that there is a certain degree of truth to that. naturally we need to eat to survive. but it seems like having a variety of food has become increasingly important. i.e., we don't just eat what we need to live.
what do you guys think?

i want to hear what you have to say!
i want to know all the seemingly insignificant things that you don't take for granted.
for example: any quiet time i get.
